In 2017, the Annenberg Public Policy Center published these poll results and analysis that show some concerning data. Included in those results are these concerning facts:
- 33% of Americans could not name a single one of the three branches of government
- 54% of Americans think that illegal immigrants have no rights under the U.S. Constitution
- Only 10% of Americans were able to name “Right of assembly” as one of the specific rights guaranteed by the First Amendment
